This image shows Hugh Daniel, former president of the Alumni Association and member of the Board of Trustees at Appalachian State University (1967-current), performing an eye exam on a patient in Waynesville, NC, in the 1970s. Daniel served as Alumni Association president for 1964-65, was on the Board of Trustees from 1967 to 1972, and was chairman in 1971.
