This image shows four faculty members standing on the Promenade outside the second Administration Building, built 1924, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1960s. William DeGroat of the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation can be seen on the right, and James Stone of the Department of Education and director of Extension can be seen second from the right.
