This image shows Vice-President and Comptroller David Barnard Dougherty (1955-1965) putting a piece of paper into a box at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1960s. Dougherty served as business manager from 1938 to 1955, and as vice-president of the College from 1955 until 1965.
