This image shows Roger Whitener (Department of English) putting up a poster for a concert given by the United States Navy Band on a door at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in April 1962. The poster reads, "The United States Navy Band of Washington, D. C., Health and Physical Education Bldg. Appalachian State Teachers College, Boone, North Carolina, Tuesday Apr. 17, Matinee and Evening."
