Description

This image shows the cast of the University Theatre production of "Macbeth" standing on a stage in an auditorium at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in February 1975. Far left on back row is DR. O.K. Webb (Dean of the General College) and Second from right on first row is Ed Pilkington (Dept. of Theatre and Dance). The Department of Theatre and Dance sponsors the University Theatre which produces several plays a year and holds auditions for the season that are open to all students. The department is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre, the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
