Title

Coffey Hall, Halloween, 1986

Description

This image shows three residents of Coffey Hall, built 1953, posing with a carved Jack-o-Lantern for Halloween at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1986-87. Two students are seen holding a book on French verbs in front of the pumpkin, and all three are seen wearing Long John Silver's pirate hats. Coffey Hall housed the Honors Program, an academic and residential community for high achieving students and is open to freshmen, transfer students, and current students at Appalachian State. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 114).
