SGA President Todd Campbell, 1985

This image shows Todd Campbell, president of the Student Government Association at Appalachian State University (1967-current) for 1985-86. Founded in 1939-1940 as the Student Council, the Student Government Association serves as the students' only official voice to the Appalachian administration. The Student Senate is the main governing body and is composed of elected on and off campus students. The SGA president also serves as a full voting member of the Board of Trustees. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 76).
