This image shows a float in the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Homecoming Parade on the track at Conrad Stadium, built 1962, in October 1965. Two students can be seen sitting on the float with an archery target, reading "ASTC, MA, BA, BS, BS ED." The audience can be seen sitting on bleachers in the background. Homecoming was an annual event that included dramatic performances, a parade, a dance, a football game, reunion activities, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen.
