Description

This image shows the back of Industrial Arts Club float riding in the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Homecoming Parade on the track at Conrad Stadium, built 1962, in October 1965. The float was designed to look like a mountain with a graduate on the top, with degree titles written in black lettering along the sides. The float reads, "Appalachian Mount of Knowledge."
