This image shows two members of the Homecoming court riding in the back of a convertible in the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Homecoming parade going down King Street in Boone, NC, in October 1965. Businesses and onlookers can be seen in the background. Homecoming was an annual event that included dramatic performances, a parade, a dance, a football game, reunion activities, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen.
