This image shows a member of the Alumni Association driving a car in the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Homecoming parade going down King Street in Boone, NC, in October 1965. The sign on the car door reads, "Alumni." Homecoming was an annual event that included dramatic performances, a parade, a dance, a football game, reunion activities, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen.
