Henry IV Part I, 1985, photo 2

Description

This image shows the performance of the play "Henry IV Part I" at the Valborg Theater in Chapell Wilson Hall, built 1938, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in October 1985. John Falstaff (Ned Austin) can be seen speaking to Henry, Prince of Wales (Palmer Bailey). The performance was produced by the University Theatre. The Department of Theatre and Dance sponsors the University Theatre which produces several plays a year and holds auditions for the season that are open to all students. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 61).
