This image shows the members of the fraternity Pi Kappa Phi at Appalachian State University (1967-current) for 1985-86 standing outdoors. The Appalachian State chapter of Pi Kappa Phi was founded in 1973 and strives to promote unity and brotherhood. It is the oldest social fraternity at Appalachian State. On the far left of the second row is Dr. Art Quickenton, faculty member in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 89).
