This image shows Professor Larry Horine of the Department of Health Education, Physical Education, and Leisure Studies standing next to a sign advertising the Partners of the Americas program at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1985. The sign reads, "N.C. Sports and Physical Education Committee of Partners of the Americas. N.C. Partners of the Americas is a non-government, non-sectarian, people-to-people service organization." This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 282).
