This image shows members of the 1968-69 Marching Band at Appalachian State University (1967-current) sitting on the bleachers at Conrad Stadium, built 1962. The Majorettes can be seen sitting on the left. The Marching Band was originally started by Professor Gordon Nash in 1939 and was managed by the Department of Music.
