Women's Track Team, 1985-86

This image shows the 1985-86 women's Track Team at Appalachian State University (1967-current) standing on bleachers at Conrad Stadium, built 1979. The coach can be seen standing on the right in a dark jumpsuit. Appalachian State's Track Team included distance races, hurdles, and pole vaulting. Conrad Stadium was renamed Kidd Brewer Stadium in 1988. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 370). The coach is John Weaver.
