This image shows two AppolCorps Leaders talking outside during Freshman Orientation at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in August 1986. AppolCorps Captain Karen Gann can be seen talking with volunteer Kathy Foster. AppolCorps members helped familiarize incoming freshmen with the University, college life, registration, academic policies and procedures, and faculty. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 18).
