Mountaineer Escort Service, 1986

This image shows the student volunteers for the Mountaineer Escort Service at Appalachian State University (1967-current) for 1986-87. The SGA-sponsored service provided escorts around campus after dark to provide protection and safety for solitary students moving between buildings. They worked Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 to 11:15 p.m. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 249).
