Description

This image shows the second Lovill Home, built 1915, being demolished on September 25, 1967 at Appalachian State University (1967-current). It served as a dormitory for 150 women. It was positioned on the Promenade across from the Welborn Cafeteria, between White Hall, built 1924, and East Hall, built 1952, where Sanford Hall, built 1969, now stands.
