Description
This image shows a referee taking notes on a clipboard while standing beside a volleyball net in a gymnasium at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1985. Student referees take Physical Education course 3098, which required participants to work thirty-two games for credit. A student was paid $3.25 per game. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 300).
