Description

This image shows a woman climbing a cliff during an outdoor program held by Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1970s. Outdoor Programs began in 1973, and offered outdoor expeditions, trips, clinics, workshops and training in outdoor activities including caving, climbing, kayaking, rafting, and backpacking. It is part of the programs offered by University Recreation in the Division of Student Development.
