This image shows nine of the top ten freshmen in the Honors Program at Appalachian State University (1967-current) for the 1973-74 academic year. The image shows, in the front row, Cynthia Patton, Terri Towery, Katherine Davis, Jennifer Bare, and Rena Brown, and in the second row, Margaret Walker, John Williams, Harold Farlow, Anne Stallings, and Linda Williams. The Honors Program is an academic and residential community for high achieving students and is open to freshmen, transfer students, and current students at Appalachian State.
