Enrichment Program, circa 1975, photo 2

This image shows a group of students being shown lab equipment by a professor during one of the enrichment programs at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1970s. The Michael R. Patricelli Craft Enrichment Program was organized in the Department of Industrial Arts and Technological Education and offered craft workshops, including pottery, mosaics, welding, and blacksmithing. Appalachian State also offered extra-curricular and summer enrichment programs in various academic and athletic fields. They are managed by the Office of Conferences and Institutes. The professor in the picture is Dr. Francis Montaldi, Department of Biology.
