This image shows a student typing on a computer during a computer workshop held as part of the Summer Science Program at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1980s. Two other students can be seen in the background and on the left. Appalachian State offered many summer programs, including camp activities at Camp Broadstone, math and science programs, music camps, and nature studies for children and adults. Summer camp programs are arranged through the Office of Conferences and Institutes.
