This image shows the attendees of a faculty retirement luncheon held at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1970s. The luncheon was held in honor of retiring faculty. Attendees can be seen sitting at tables in Welborn Cafeteria, built 1925. Seated on the far left of the first table is Dr. N.A. (“Andy”) Miller. Seated on the second table in the center and wearing glassed is Mr. Starr Stacey, Department of Mathematics.
