This image shows a student standing on the Promenade posing with a snowball after a snowstorm at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the winter of the 1959-1960 school year. White Residence Hall, built 1924, Dauph-Blan Hall, built 1929, and the northern corner of the second Administration Building, built 1924, can be seen in the background. This photo appears on page 10 of the 1960 The Rhododendron.
