Description

This image shows a house lifted off its foundation before being removed from the Appalachian State University (1967-current) campus in the late 1960s. The area being cleared is the future location of a parking lot west of Edwin Duncan Hall, built 1965, visible on the left. Eggers Residence Hall, completed in 1970, can be seen under construction in the background. Justice Hall, built 1952, and Coltrane Residence Hall, built 1968, can be seen in the background on the left.
