This image shows the Charlotte chapter of the Alumni Association at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) meeting in Charlotte, NC, during the 1960s. Attendees can be seen dancing in the background. Two tables with dishes and bottles on them can be seen in the foreground. The Alumni Association started in 1934 and met at least once a year during Homecoming for reunions, association business, and officer elections. There are currently eighteen chapters of the Association across the country.
