Description

This image shows a man standing by a table during a luncheon held by the Alumni Association at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in Welborn Cafeteria, built 1925, in August 1967. Other attendees can be seen sitting at tables on the right. The Alumni Association started in 1934 and met at least once a year during Homecoming for reunions, association business, and officer elections. Seated next to the man standing is Mr. Bob Snead, Development and Public Affairs.
