Alumni Association, 1969, display

This image shows a football display set up in the lobby of the B. B. Dougherty Administration Building, built 1968, for the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Alumni Association in 1969. The display includes a college banner, a football, a helmet, a trophy from the first annual Tampa Cigar Festival Bowl in 1962, and a football game program. The Alumni Association started in 1934 and met at least once a year during Homecoming for reunions, association business, and officer elections.
