Title

Doughton Residence Hall, bulletin board, 1985

Description

This image shows the bulletin board on the fourth floor of Doughton Hall, built 1963, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1985-86. The fourth floor housed participants in the "Mountaineer Community" program for freshmen students, designed to introduce students to college life. Doughton Hall was originally a women's dormitory that housed 300 students on seven floors. It is now a co-educational dormitory and is part of the Eastridge Community of Residence Halls. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 155).
