Description

This image shows Professor James E. Johnson showing a piece of laboratory equipment to two students in a classroom in the Department of Chemistry at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1960s. The Department of Chemistry exists within the College of Arts and Sciences, and aims to provide training for future chemists, basic understanding of the principles of chemistry, and chemistry teachers. The Department has been accredited by the American Chemical Society.
