This image shows Associate Professor Judy Humphrey of the Art Department adjusting a box onto a tripod in an office in the Art Department at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in January 1978. Humphrey taught art at Appalachian State from 1973 until 2005. The Art Department is located in the College of Fine and Applied Arts. It includes concentrations in clay, drawing, fibers, metals/jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
