Description

This image shows Professor Margaret Polson of the Art Department at Appalachian State University (1967-current), posing next to one of her paintings in a gallery in January 1972. The Art Department is located in the College of Fine and Applied Arts. It includes concentrations in clay, drawing, fibers, metals/jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture, and often displays student and faculty art in the Catherine Smith Gallery and the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts.
