This image shows two women holding and looking at a matted artwork mounted on a board at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the mid to late 1970s. File cabinets and other matted art are visible in the background. The Art Department is located in the College of Fine and Applied Arts. It includes concentrations in clay, drawing, fibers, metals/jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
