This image shows a student working on a loom while two people are being led through a tour of the Art Department at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the mid to late 1970s. Other looms and spinning wheels are visible in the background. The Art Department is located in the College of Fine and Applied Arts. It includes concentrations in clay, drawing, fibers, metals/jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
