This image shows retired Registrar Herman Eggers speaking behind a podium at the dedication ceremony for Eggers Residence Hall at Appalachian State University (1967-current) on October 17, 1971. The attendees include Registrar Herman Eggers, Head of the Department of Languages Graydon P. Eggers, and retired Appalachian State President William Howard Plemmons. Eggers Hall was completed in 1970 and served as a men's dormitory.
