Airplane, circa 1955

This image shows an airplane on a runway. The photograph was taken by John A. Pritchett, director of the Audio-Visual Center and university photographer at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1950s. A pilot can be seen sitting in the cockpit, and the side of the plane reads, "6616" and "PS-616."
