This image shows a group of students standing around a three-dimensional map of Europe as part of a presentation at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). One student points at Austria-Hungary on a two-dimensional map of Europe in 1914 in the background, while another uses a ruler to point at Romania on the three-dimensional map on a table, showing Europe after World War I, circa 1919. A third student stands on the left, placing an object on the Atlantic Ocean near France.
