Student Poster, weather

Description

This image shows a poster display marking the passage of winter into spring at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The display reads, "It came in like a lion so--" The left half of the display is illustrated to demonstrate snow, while the right half appears as a field. The rear of a lion is visible on one side of a tunnel and a head of a white animal emerges on the other side. The tunnel reads, "March." This image was taken in the mid-1950s.
