This image shows a poster display at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The display reads, "Electoral Map of United States," and consists of a chalk drawing of the United States, each state labeled, colored, and including the number of electoral delegates allowed for that state. Government was taught under the Department of Social Studies, and included classes on the Federal Government, American State Government, and political thought. This image was taken in the mid-1950s.
