This image shows a typing class being taught by Roscoe J. Allen, professor of Typing, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). Roscoe Allen taught in the Department of Business Education from 1952 to 1956. Students can be seen sitting in three rows, typing on typewriters. This photograph was taken during the mid-1950s.
