Forensic Club Tournament, Women's Debate Team, 1954

This image shows the Women's Debate Team that participated in the Forensic Club Tournament on December 4, 1954 at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The tournament was an annual event sponsored by the Appalachian State Forensic Club. From left to right, the image shows Joanne Aldridge, Jeanna Coffey, Julia Hough, and Lucy Templeman. Aldridge and Coffey won the tournament. This image appears in "The Appalachian" on December 17, 1954.
