This image shows two members of the Mountaineer Football Team in the mid-1950s, crouching on College Field at night at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The man on the right wears an Appalachian State jacket and holds a football. College Field was located south of the Administration Building, built 1924, approximately where Rankin Science Hall was later built in 1963.
