This image shows a group of students in a classroom being instructed in the use of visual aids at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). John A. Pritchett, director of the Audio-Visual Center and university photographer at Appalachian State, can be seen seated in the background. The Audio-Visual Center was located in the Education Building, built 1925, and provided technical assistance as well as educational films for students and teachers.
