Religious Council, 1958, photo 2

This image shows the Religious Council at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) for 1957-58. The Council was composed of members of each of the church affiliated groups on campus, including the YWCA, YMCA, and the Christian Teachers Club. It aimed at creating unity between different campus religious organizations, and sponsored Religious Emphasis Week each year.
