This image shows a group of onlookers seated on the grassy field outside the tennis courts in 1957-58 at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967). The tennis courts were located south of the first Administration Building, built 1905, and west of Red Lackey Field. This image appears in the 1958 Rhododendron (p. 143).
