Baptist Student Union, 1958

This image shows the members of the Baptist Student Union, sitting at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in January 1958. The Baptist Student Union functioned as a link between Baptist students at Appalachian State and the local Baptist church, and all students participating in any of the Baptist Church's programs were automatically members. It met in the Baptist Student Union student center run by the First Baptist Church of Boone, NC. This image appears in the 1958 Rhododendron (p. 114).
