This image shows a member of the Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) Mountaineer football team on College Field with an unidentified woman. College Field was located south of the Administration Building, built 1924, approximately where Rankin Science Hall was later built in 1963. The image was taken in the early 1950s.
