College Choir, 1958, photo 1

This image shows the Appalachian Choir on a stage at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) for 1957-58. The College Choir was directed by Mrs. Virginia Wary Linney, and presented two major programs yearly, including Christmas and spring concerts, and performed at commencements and convocations. It functioned through the Department of Music Education and was open to all students. This image appears in the 1958 Rhododendron (p. 122).
